On this episode of the Kentucky Kernel's digital magazine, I was able to serve as the producer and a co-host, as well as having one of my individual packages featured. As the producer, I decided which packages would be included, what order they would be presented in, wrote all the transitions between the packages and oversaw the filming of the transitions.

On this episode of the Kentucky Kernel's digital magazine, I was able to serve as the producer for the entire broadcast and videographer for all the anchor introductions. For this episode, I was able to introduce two new staff members to anchoring roles and give them experience in this field.

Presentations
This presentation was created for our returning members' retreat. I was tasked with identifying an area where my reporters needed to improve and where I felt I had knowledge I could share. It covers cinematography and how we can use these ideas to improve b-roll captured for news and feature stories. It covers the basics of capturing b-roll, how to write to your b-roll and quality examples of b-roll from past Kentucky Kernel packages.
This presentation was created for a weekly desk meeting. My reporters cover both news and feature stories, so I felt it was important to go over interviewing and how to get good quotes to back up their video packages. I went over the differences between news and features packages as well as the differences between a man-on-the-street interview and a sit-down interview.
This presentation was created to teach my team how to write a broadcast package script. It emphasized the importance of a good why to a story and digging deeper than the surface level of a story. I also wanted to focus on what makes a good quote and what information can be left up to voiceover content.
